METHI UPMA
Ingredients
Rava 1 cup
Curry leaves 6-8 nos
Slit green chilies 2-3 nos
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Jeera 1 tsp
Oil 2 tsp
Dried red chilies 2 nos
Fresh methi leaves ½ cup chopped
Fresh coriander leaves 2 tbsp chopped
Salt to taste
Water as required
Fresh grated coconut for garnish optional 2 tsp
Method
Heat the oil in a pan, add in the mustard seeds, jeera, curry leaves, green and red chilies and sauté for a few seconds. Add in the rava, salt to taste, methi and coriander leaves and mix well. Add boiling water as required and stir well. Lower the flame, cover and cook for 8-10 mins. Remove, serve hot, garnish with grated coconut.
