CLASSIC CHICKEN SHORBA
Ingredients
Chicken cubes 1 cup (boiled)
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Chopped garlic 1 tsp
Chopped onion 1 no
Chicken stock 4 cups
Butter 1tbsp
Flour 1 tbsp
Curry powder 1 tbsp
Cream 1 tbsp
Chopped parsley 1 tsp
Bread croutons as required
Heat butter in a pan, sauté garlic, onion, add flour, sauté add the boiled chicken pieces, the curry powder, salt, pepper and the stock, boil simmer for 20 mins. Remove, puree the mixture strain, re-boil add cream blend well. Check for seasonings. Serve hot garnished with chopped parsley, and bread croutons.
